Microsoft .NET Web Developer

Description

The Microsoft .NET Web Developer position will involve web development tasks related to Microsoft's .NET application development platform (2.0 through 3.5), C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Server.

The candidate will be responsible for investigating user needs and translating those needs into effective websites/applications. Many tasks involve complex web applications with quality control a must.  More advanced responsibilities will be given to candidates that demonstrate knowledge and a desire to grow.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate has an advanced understanding of HTML and web practices, as well as  have sound working knowledge and practical experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and/or AJAX.  In addition, you must have a good understanding of user interaction, information architecture, general IT operations and project management. You should also enjoy working with small teams in a fast-paced and challenging environment. 

Education/Experience Requirements

Applicants with computer science, computer engineering or MIS degrees are strongly preferred.  Strong knowledge of HTML, MS SQL and web practices is a minimum requirement. Applicants with advanced .NET, MS SQL, LINQ, WPF and Silverlight expertise will be given preference.
