.NET Developer
Description
The Microsoft .NET Web Developer position will involve web development tasks related to Microsoft's .NET application development platform (2.0 through 4.0), C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for translating user needs into effective websites/applications. Many tasks involve complex web applications with quality control a must. More advanced responsibilities will be given to candidates that demonstrate knowledge and a desire to grow.
Must-Haves
- Sound working knowledge and practical experience with C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server
- Skill with LINQ to SQL
- Understanding of HTML and web practices
- Experience constructing websites and web applications
- Familiarity with web services
- Experience with version control systems
- Good understanding of user interaction, information architecture and general IT operations
- Ability and comfort working with small teams in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- 3+ years of professional web experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice-to-Haves
- SharePoint development experience
- Experience with Entity Framework
- Mobile Web development experience
- WCF experience
- Microsoft certification(s)
Education/Experience Requirements
Applicants with computer science, computer engineering or MIS degrees are preferred. Strong knowledge of HTML, MS SQL and web practices is a minimum requirement. Applicants with advanced .NET, LINQ, SharePoint and/or mobile development expertise will be given preference.
